Trends and data show a shift to a new era of low-cost energy and the World is diversifying at a rapid pace into all types of energy, in addition to oil and gas. This shift will impact the world’s needs in terms of research focus and developing new technologies. For this reason at our recent Strategic Planning session with our Board of Directors we identified the need to reword our Mission Statement to broaden our scope from “oil and gas reservoir simulation” to “energy resource modelling”. Our New Mission:
“Promote and fund university research in energy resource modelling with industry collaboration and technology transfer”
